I posted on my own blog today something I was reminded of in our class today. It’s all about being there for our kids and at the same time letting them have their own experience too. It’s so hard to do sometimes. And at the same time it feels so crucial.

If I could let all new parents know this, that in a family we are all connected but separate too, it would feel like a great piece of information to bestow. It took me a long time to learn as a parent. 4 little lives to be exact.

But here I am. And there they are too.
